This film is a modern story about the obsession for popularity. Stafford Weiss is a therapist and writes self-help books. He has an overprotective wife, a son, old TV star in rehabilitation, and a daughter who had recently left the psychiatric hospital. The main patient of Stafford is a famous actress who is about to perform the role her mother played in the sixties.
