El aceite de la vida (Lorenzo's Oil, George Miller, 1992)
The film portrays the recent case of Lorenzo Odone, who suffers from a strange pathology and official medicine cannot offer him a cure. However, his parents are against people’s opinions and start to investigate on their own, although they have no scientific knowledge on the matter. Finally, they find a solution that is not accepted by official doctors, but it does improve the living conditions of their son.
