There is something more than just inspiration behind any great piece of work: there is a methodology, a revision and, above everything else, a structured creative process. Even though we often associate art to spontaneous moments of enlightenment, the truth is that most authors follow certain systems to shape their ideas into existence.

Some authors begin to work following a clear path from the beginning: they know where they want to arrive, so they plan ahead before starting, as if you were using a map to plan your next trip. Whereas others write, draw or compose from disjointed fragments which, with enough patience, end up perfectly fitting in a coherent composition. Some rewrite until they reach the point of obsession, perfecting each word, while others create self-imposed rules to test the limits of creativity.

At the end of the day, however, these are standards, and we already know that for Pepiu, the standards are of little use. If you want to understand why, don’t miss the chance to meet him.
