CaFeCiCo 28/05/2026: Administrative management in research: practical day-to-day issues.
Secondments, project-funded purchases, working hours, clocking in, absences, administrative procedures and processes that often give rise to queries, delays or issues in day-to-day research activities. With the aim of clarifying these matters and streamlining day-to-day management, the centre’s manager will hold a practical session for research staff, focusing on common administrative issues and their practical application.
During the session, the essential aspects relating to the processing of secondments, the various working hour arrangements and the management of absences will be reviewed in a clear and straightforward manner, as well as the procedures and requirements for procuring goods and services linked to research projects.
The session will take a streamlined approach focused on common scenarios, aiming to provide useful tools to save time, avoid administrative errors and improve coordination between researchers and the administration. A space designed to address specific queries and gain a better understanding of the procedures that form part of daily scientific activity.
