The speaker is a research professor at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez. He is currently doing a stay at the Department of Business Management at the Universitat de València.

Juan Alfonso Toscano Moctezuma has a PhD from the Universidad de Cantabria. For more than twenty years he has been a professor and researcher at the Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez (UACJ), as well as various Higher Education Institutions in the area of business sciences. Likewise, he is Coordinator of the Doctorate in Administrative Sciences at the UACJ. In the business field, Dr. Toscano has worked as a business consultant, executive trainer and business advisor in financial management and senior management for more than thirty years.

Dr. Toscano is the author of various books and articles, some of the latest articles published are "Human capital and the productivity of companies", "Strategic management of intergenerational work teams in organizations", "Diagnosis of the Model of Business in the manufacturing industry of Ciudad Juárez”, “The role of adaptability as a driver of competitiveness and economic sustainability, among others. “The impact of Industry 4.0 on Human Resources.”
