Cristina Simone is a full Professor of Management at Sapienza University of Rome, where she teaches ‘Management’ and ‘International Marketing Management’. Her main research fields are management, sustainability, innovation, knowledge management and organisational design, and management of cultural heritage. She is the principal investigator of several Sapienza University-funded projects. In September 2019 she joined as Team leader of the WP 6 of an UE project UPPER (Urban productive parks for the development of NBS (Nature-based solutions) related technologies and services). Professor Simone is co-director of the book series “Management Organization and Technology” (ManOTec) (Ed. Nuova Cultura, Rome), and Associated editor of the International Journal of Environment and Health; she is the referee of the register of scientific experts for the scientific evaluation of the Italian research of the Ministero dell’Università e della Ricerca (REPRISE). She is invited member of the Organisational Processes and Practices Research Group (OPPRG), School of Business and Management, Queen Mary University of London (UK). She is a member of several scientific associations: AIDEA (Accademia Italiana di Economia Aziendale), Academy of Management, EGOS (European Group for Organizational Studies) and ASVSA (Research Association on Viable Systems).
