In the pre-registration for the Doctoral Programme in Physiology the student must submit a research plan project with the topic and the line of research, as well as the thesis’ tutors and directors.

At least one of the directors must be a professor with a doctorate in the Department of Physiology of the Universitat de València. This professor will also act as the tutor. Exceptionally, the commission may be able to consider any special situations.

The doctoral thesis may be directed by several professors, with a maximum of 3 directors, for academic or thematic interdisciplinary reasons. The specific participation of each director must be justified and detailed in the research plan project and it is important to add the approval of the Programme Academic Committee.

In order to write the research plan project, the student must look up the programme’s topics and lines of research and contact the professor they consider most suitable to direct their thesis. The student may have external directors from the Department of Physiology, but at least one of them must belong to the department.

Once the directors have been confirmed, the student must fill in the research plan project, to be attached to the pre-enrolment form, duly completed and electronically signed by the student, the tutor and the directors, with all the necessary documents. Furthermore, the student must attach the curriculum vitae, in their preferred format
