For doctoral studies, the maximum number of deadlines is 6 for second and subsequent enrolments and 7 for first enrolments, due to the enrolment renewal calendar.
- Direct debit: in a single payment, two instalments or six instalments. You must enter the details of a Spanish bank account. To do so, it will be necessary to complete the SEPA mandate and upload it through the Services Portal https://intranet.uv.es during the dates enabled for modifying the payment methods.
- Modification of bank details: For the change of account to be effective, it will be necessary to complete the SEPA mandate and upload it through the Services Portal https://intranet.uv.es during the dates enabled for modifying the payment methods.
- Credit card payment: Receipts will be issued in the same periods as the direct debit payment. Link to access bills
All students will be issued with a receipt for the collection of administrative fees and school insurance (under 28 years of age), including students who are beneficiaries of a pre-doctoral contract and who are exempt from academic supervision. These fees are not refundable.
Consequences of non-payment
- In the event of non-payment of tuition fees, or of any instalment thereof where payment has been arranged in instalments, the Doctoral School shall automatically proceed to cancel the enrolment. Under no circumstances shall this entail the reimbursement of any amounts already paid. In accordance with the provisions of the Fees Act, where an enrolment has been cancelled due to non-payment in the last academic year in which the student was enrolled, payment of the corresponding outstanding amount shall be required as a condition for admission to a new enrolment.
- Withdrawal from a programme as a consequence of non-payment of tuition fees entails the revocation of any grades that may have been obtained in supplementary training credits, as well as the revocation of any transversal or programme-specific training activities that were added to the student’s academic record during the academic year in which the enrolment is cancelled.
- Automatic withdrawal due to non-payment means that the student may not be readmitted to or re-enrol in the doctoral programme from which they were withdrawn until two subsequent academic years have elapsed.
- Should the student be admitted again to the same doctoral programme, the time previously spent in that programme shall be taken into account for the purposes of calculating the maximum duration of the doctoral studies.
Exemptions
For the first enrollment, eligibility for exemptions must be officially recognized on the date of enrollment. For second and subsequent enrollments, exemptions and fee reductions may only be applied if the applicant has the corresponding entitlement recognized during the data modification period, from 5 to 9 October. If the exemption is in the process of being renewed, supporting documentation may be submitted until 31 December 2026.
No refund of fees will be granted if the student does not have the relevant status officially recognized, or if the certificate recognizing such status is issued after the enrollment period.
Refunds of fees
The refund of fees corresponding to academic supervision will only proceed if the application for withdrawal is submitted before 31 December of the corresponding academic year.
