Doctoral Programme in Communication and Inter-culturality

From the three criteria assessed the following issues are added:
-CV: Special attention will be given to research experience as the attendance to conferences and postgraduate courses, seminars of national and international nature, courses and other national and foreign universities, publications in indexed journals, books, as well as the affinity of the cv with the thematic of the doctoral studies. Each activity will be assessed by the Doctoral Studies Academic Committee.
Languages: The level B1 of English or French with the aim of consulting the bibliography needed for the development of the doctoral thesis, as well as the consultation of the data base on cinema and other archives. The documentation will be checked by the Doctoral Studies Academic Committee.
Personal interview: The members of the Doctoral Studies Academic Committee will hold a personal interview with the applicants in order to assess their motivations, their interest for the thematic of the doctoral studies, as well as their ability for the development of the doctoral thesis and their availability and research capacity.
From these criteria, the CV will have a 60% weight of the final assessment by the Committee, the personal interview a 20% and the knowledge of languages also a 20%. In the assessment of the CV special attention will be pay to the Undergraduate Final Project and to the Master’s Degree Final Project, as well as to the completion of a Master’s degree of at least 120 credits.
