Doctoral Programme in Physical Activity and Sport

Students will be encouraged to spend more than three months in relevant national and, above all, international institutions for the development of their research. In the case of doctoral theses with an international designation, the PhD student must have spent a minimum of three months, at least two of which must be continuous, outside Spain in a prestigious higher education institution or research centre, studying or conducting research work. The stay and activities must be endorsed by the Supervisor and authorised by the Academic Committee of the Doctoral Programme and will be included in the doctoral student's activities record.
In order to foster student mobility, the resources and calls of the Student Service and the Teaching Staff Service of the Universitat de València will be used. In addition, the expertise of the teaching staff is available to facilitate stays that may help to achieve competences related to working and collaborating in different contexts and groups, as well as the condition to obtain international doctoral mentions.
The contacts of the previous stays of the teaching staff (6 during the last 3 years) and the international agreements and collaborations indicated in previous sections of this application are a guarantee to facilitate the mobility actions among the students of the doctoral programme.
For part-time students, mobility will be planned according to their possibilities and distributed over several years.
