José Luís Saorín, professor of the Department of Engineering Techniques and Projects and Architecture of the University of La Laguna, will give a talk about advantages and disadvantages of assembling a 3D printing workshop.
Next 28 June at 12 h, the Assembly Hall of the ETSE-UV will hold a talk-debate about the possibilities of assembling a FabLab in the School. The aim of this talk is to open a debate forum about the viability of assembling a workshop to print 3D objects in our facilities.
For this purpose, we will count with the presence of José Luís Saorín, professor of the Department of Engineering Techniques and Projects and Architecture of the University of La Laguna, who has also participated in the FABLAB of that same University. This Laboratory of Design and Digital Fabrication composes the “General Services of Research Support”. This is a transversal work space ─ multidisciplinary and collaborative. It grows along with the use of digital tools of design and production.
