On November 30, the 1st Intra-faculty Conference on Research Projects with a Gender Perspective will take place in the Board Room of the Faculty of Geography and History of the University of Valencia. The initiative, promoted by the Dean of the Center within the framework of its Equality and Inclusive Policies Commission, has the objective of bringing together in a single activity the different research groups and researchers of the Center who currently direct and develop research projects based on the gender approach, so that they can share experiences with each other. The Conference also aims to promote the development of new synergies between these research groups and their participants, always favorable to future collaborations. Likewise, throughout the sessions it will be analyzed how the results obtained in the aforementioned projects are linked to the contents of the subjects they teach, also managing to mainstream that same gender perspective in the teaching of our degrees, which responds to one of the lines of work of the Innovation Plan of the Faculty of Geography and History for years.

With the celebration of the I Intrafaculty Conference on Research Projects with a Gender Perspective, our Center closes a month that on the occasion of 25N has developed numerous activities to make visible the role of women in different times, cultures and territories; from the societies of the past to the current world.
