Daniel Andrés Penares |
Physics graduate (University of Valencia, 2014). He is currently pursuing his master degree in Advanced Physics in the specialty of Photonics (University of Valencia). His Degree work (University of Valencia, 2014) was based on Preparation and characterization by Raman spectroscopy of MoS2 flakes prepared by micro-mechanical exfoliation. Further work for PhD thesis will focus on the fabrication and characterization of low-dimensional materials and their applications in optoelectronic devices.

Chemist (University of Valencia). As undergraduate student, Sandra worked for six months in film deposition techniques applied to solar technology at the group of professor Dirk M. Guldi (Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg). As a production and research chemist at Intenanomat S.L she collaborates with the UMDO group for the characterization of synthesized metal and semiconductor nanoparticles by TEM, SEM, FTIR, AFM, X-Ray Diffraction, optical measurements, Profilometry, Particle size determination.
