The XIV Bianual Meeting of the Spanish Polymer Group (GEP) of the Spanish Royal Societies of Chemistry and Physics, held in Burgos, concluded with the award of the prizes to the best contributions of young researchers under 35. This year, one of the awards went to the work of Olaia Álvarez-Bermúdez, entitled "Controlling the Structure of Polymer/Metal Oxide Hybrid Nanoparticles via Colloidal Methods". Olaia conducts her PhD research in the Unit of Polymeric Materials at the ICMUV under the supervision of Rafael Muñoz-Espí.
