Lalo Salmerón
University of València (Spain)
I will summarize our research conducted with students with intellectual disabilities with the goal of assessing and improving their digital literacy skills. I will discuss the scenarios we have worked with in our studies, including web forums, Google results pages, video blogs, and informational web pages. I will focus on the potentials and limitations of these students, as well as the effectiveness of the interventions designed to improve their text comprehension and critical evaluation of digital information.
