The reading skills development program was designed to be implemented in Early Education (3-5 years) in Peruvian schools. It includes basic information about how this program is integrated into the Peruvian curriculum, information for the teacher to carry out the program in his or her classroom, and offers the material for each session and evaluation guidelines. It is of great interest to have programs of these characteristics adapted to the Peruvian context in order to reduce the need to rely on materials in Spanish developed in Spain. It was tested in the Doctoral Thesis Doctoral of Liz Ysla Almohacid, supervised by Vicenta Ávila.
