The IDM has participated in ForInvest at the Valencia Fair on March 8 and 9, 2023 as part of the Inndromeda stand. In it he was able to present several works from the Scientific Unit for Business Innovation (UCIE-IDM) financed by the Valencian Innovation Agency (AVI).

Optical sensors and biosensors were presented for the detection of molecules of interest in the health, agri-food and security fields. Specifically, information of interest was taken from the GHB chemical submission drug detection kit in beverages (NOSUM), from the chromogenic sensor for the detection of harmful gases, and from the optical sensor to detect pathogens through molecular gates.

These works are a sample of the research carried out at the Institute that is transferable to society, obtaining easy-to-use and low-cost sensors. The works managed to capture the interest of the public.
