Contracted electronic resources licenses do not allw to upload pdf archives of the licensed documents to the VIRTUAL CLASSROOM or any other server.

If UV members want to use material of these resources within the VIRTUAL CLASSROOM, they must add a link so that students can consult it.

For the correct functioning of these links, you must use the permanent links.

What is a permanent link?
A permanent link (also called persistent link or permalink) is a direct and stable link to a resource (for example, the article of an e-journal) and that even operates after finishing the connection to the resource.

Why do we have to use the permanent links?
The URL seen in the address bar in the browser when you consult an e-journal, an e-book or a database may be provisional for that moment and stop working when you disconnects from the resource.

If you copy and paste that address on the VIRTUAL CLASSROOM, it will not work when students click on it.

Who will be able to access the permanent links?
This links will be only accessible within the network of the University or from the outside through the Private Virtual Network Estos enlaces sólo estarán accesibles dentro de la red de la Universidad o desde fuera a través de la Red Privada Virtual (VPN)
