"Thursdays for Palestine" is now open to all participants, a space on the Tarongers Campus where they will meet every Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the terrace of the Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library.
During these meetings, attendees will be able to share a meal and reflect together on the current situation and challenges in Gaza.

The inaugural session of the Paraula Viva series has been postponed.
Paraula viva series, which was due to begin today with the participation of writer Carmen Amoraga, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. The new date for the meeting with the author will be announced shortly on our website and the Library's social media accounts.

The Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library Hosts the Exhibition The Writings of Water
On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, the Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library (Campus dels Tarongers) hosted the opening of the exhibition The Writings of Water. A Social Perspective on the October 29, 2024 Dana.
The exhibition, curated by Antonio Ariño, brings together photographs by Cueto Lominchar, Ana Martínez Gorostiza, and Mario Rabasco,
The exhibition will be on view until November 10, 2025, at the Gregori Maians Social Sciences Library. Access is free and open to the entire university community and the general public.

Celebration of the library's 25th anniversary
The "Gregori Maians" Social Sciences Library is commemorating a quarter of a century of service to the university community this year.
The anniversary celebration will take place on Thursday, September 18, at 11 a.m., in the lobby of the Tarongers Campus library. The event will feature speeches by Carlos Hermenegildo, Vice-Rector for Research; Cristina Tomás, Director of the Library and Documentation Service; and the library's director, Amelia López. After the opening speeches, there will be a toast with cava and a musical performance by the group RockAddiction, which will bring the day of celebration to a close.
