Goal

The goal is to help UV researcher staff, providing them with objective data on the quality of their scientific publications (metrics and citations).

Who is it targeted to?

During the 2025-2026 six-year period, the service is aimed at all teaching and research staff at the University of Valencia, regardless of the CNEAI field in which they are applying. The receipt and preparation of reports is limited to the capacity of each library.

To find out which teaching and research staff members can request an evaluation of their research activity, please consult the PDI HR website.

Term

The general term for applications will be from 6 October until 2 December 2025.

General conditions of the service

  1. Applicants will choose a maximum of seven publications, before sharing with the Library the bibliographic references through the form for their analysis. The applicant is responsible for the choice of publications that the Library will analyse
  2. It is necessary to fill as many applications as research projects are to be requested, with a maximum of seven publications per application.
  3. The Library will only analyse the ordinary publications (except the patents) that ANECA considers to be evaluable according to the call. According to the Orden de 2 de diciembre de 1994 por la que se establece el procedimiento para la evaluación de la actividad investigadora en desarrollo del Real Decreto 1086/1989, de 28 de agosto, sobre retribuciones del profesorado universitario, the following are considered:

WE DO NOT...

  • We do not offer advice on how to set up research sections. The information referred to how to set up the tranches is in the Orden de 2 de diciembre de 1994 por la que se establece el procedimiento para la evaluación de la actividad investigadora en desarrollo del Real Decreto 1086/1989, de 28 de agosto, sobre retribuciones del profesorado universitario.
  • We do not choose the contributions to present. The library can help you to report on the contributions with the indications of quality required in the call, but the choice of the publications presented is a personal decision of the researcher.
  • We do not offer advice on circumstances related to contracts, maternity leave, etc. The Libraries and Documentation Service of the UV offers advice in the search for the indications of quality of the contributions to be evaluated in the application. Information on contracts must be consulted with RRHH PDI.
  • We do not offer advice on the field for which the six-year period should be submitted. The choice of field is a personal decision of the researcher.
  • NEW: Reports will not be provided to research staff who have already received a report in the previous two years, unless they request a different section. With the report previously provided by the library and with the help of the Scientific Production Portal, information (citations, etc.) can be easily updated
  • No reports are made for figures who cannot apply for sexennial (Associates without accreditation, etc.). To find out which positions are eligible for a six-year term, please consult the Call for Applications, published on the PDI Human Resources website.
