Suport + Indicis per a sexennis
Objective
The objective is to assist the research staff of the Universitat de València by providing them with objective data regarding the quality index of their scientific publications (metrics and citations).
Application Period
The general application period will run from October 5 to December 14, 2026.
Eligibility
All teaching and research staff (PDI) at the Universitat de València are eligible to apply, regardless of the ANECA field under which they are submitting. To identify the specific categories of teaching and research staff (PDI) eligible to request an evaluation of their research activity, please refer to the PDI Human Resources webpage for teaching and research staff. The receipt of applications and the preparation of reports are subject to the capacity of each individual library.
How to apply
- Select a maximum of seven publications. It is the applicant's responsibility to choose which publications the Library will analyze.
- Submit the bibliographic references using the form. You must complete a separate application for each research period (*tramo de investigación*) you wish to submit for assessment, with a maximum of seven publications per application.
- You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application.
- You will receive the report in PDF format. Along with the report, the Library will ask you to provide feedback on the service via a short survey.
What we analyze
The Library will analyze only "ordinary" contributions (excluding patents) that ANECA deems eligible for evaluation under the terms of a given call for applications. According to the Orden de 2 de diciembre de 1994 por la que se establece el procedimiento para la evaluación de la actividad investigadora en desarrollo del Real Decreto 1086/1989, de 28 de agosto, sobre retribuciones del profesorado universitario the following are considered:
- Ordinary contributions (which we analyze): books, book chapters, forewords, introductions, and annotations to texts of recognized scientific value within their field of knowledge; and articles of scientific value published in journals of recognized prestige within their respective disciplines. Patents or utility models with demonstrable economic importance are also classified as "ordinary" contributions, but they will not be analyzed.
- Extraordinary contributions (which we do not analyze): reports, studies, and expert opinions; technical or artistic works; significant participation in prestigious exhibitions, archaeological excavations, or cataloging projects; the supervision of doctoral theses of exceptional merit; and, as an exception, conference papers.
What you will receive
- A PDF report detailing the quality indicators for each of your references.
- The data align with the criteria required by the ANECA call for applications for each scientific field, and all necessary clarifications will be clearly provided.
- The final selection of scientific publications to be submitted to ANECA is the responsibility of the researcher.
What we do not do
- We do not provide advice on how to structure your research periods. Information regarding how to structure these periods can be found in the Orden de 2 de diciembre de 1994 por la que se establece el procedimiento para la evaluación de la actividad investigadora en desarrollo del Real Decreto 1086/1989, de 28 de agosto, sobre retribuciones del profesorado universitario.
- We do not select the research outputs to be submitted. While the library can assist in preparing a report on your research outputs—including the quality indicators required by the call for applications—the final selection of which publications to submit is a personal decision for the researcher.
- We do not provide advice regarding matters such as employment contracts, maternity leave, etc. The UV Library and Documentation Service offers guidance on finding quality indicators for the research outputs included in your application; however, any questions regarding employment contracts should be directed to the Human Resources Department for Academic Staff (RRHH PDI).
- We do not provide advice on which field you should choose for your six-year research period. The choice of field is a personal decision for the researcher.
- We do not draft the narrative justification: we are not familiar with your specific field, nor are we experts in your particular area of research. However, please note that the Guia d'indicadors contains examples of narrative text for all the indicators.
