Psychology Library Summer Hours

July Opening Hours:

The Psychology Library will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

August Opening Hours:

The Psychology Library will be open on August 1 and August 25 through 29, from 8:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.    

Saturday Opening Hours:

Beginning June 28, the libraries will be closed on Saturdays from July to September.                 

In addition, for energy-saving reasons:

Group work booth reservations are suspended until further notice, and the old library area will remain closed.

OpenVPN Update

The IT Department has updated the version of the OpenVPN application, which we use for remote connections to the UV network. To ensure proper operation of the service, it is essential that you download and replace the current configuration file with the new version.

Training Session. Systematic Reviews with Prisma

Face-to-face training session on systematic reviews with PRISMA

The Library Service of the University of Valencia (UV) has organized a training session entitled "Systematic Reviews with Prisma".

The session is taught by Clarivate, will be face-to-face and will take place on June 18, 2025.

• Location: Training room of the Psychology Library (Faculty of Psychology UV).
• Time: 12:00 to 1:30 p.m.
• Aimed at: Teaching staff, preferably from the Psychology area, and staff from the UV Library Service (SBD-UV).

This initiative seeks to improve skills in systematic reviews and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the area.

Wiley has scheduled two seminars for June. The seminars are free and online, and are aimed at authors and researchers interested in the publication and promotion process.

New titles from the Eureka Panamericana collection

The Psychology library has acquired new books in digital format from the Eureka Panamericana collection for Psychology, Speech Therapy and Physical Activity and Sports. And best of all: they are some of the titles most used as recommended bibliography in these degrees! So I'm sure they will be very useful for your studies. 📚🔥

Additionally, you can consult the Eureka platform usage guide.

Remember that to access electronic resources, you must be connected to the eduroam Wi-Fi network or, if you are at home, install the VPN. This will ensure that you can access all the materials without any problem. 🔒💻
