The six-years period campaing begins at University of Valencia

From 6th October until 2nd December, all PDI of the Universitat de València, regardless of their area of knowledge, can request in their library a report with the indications of quality of the publications that they have to submit to the call for six-years period. A maximum of seven references per application will be analysed, and if you wish to request more than one section, you must do so in separate applications (one for each section). For further information, please consult the SBD Accreditations and Six-Year Periods webpage.

The report is structured on the basis of the evaluation criteria implemented by ANECA, providing indications regarding the contribution, the means of dissemination and Open Science.

The Suport + Indicis service is offered free of charge, subject only to the availability of resources in the libraries. To request the report, the PDI has to fill in the following form:

Online Training: Introduction to Systematic Reviews with PICO and PRISMA

Online training session on systematic reviews using PICO and PRISMA, organized by the Library Service of the University of Valencia and delivered by Clarivate, on October 2, 2025.

Clarivate, in collaboration with the University of Valencia, offers a 45-minute training session aimed at students interested in getting started with systematic reviews. The session will include both theoretical content and practical examples, focusing on the use of the PsycInfo database via the ProQuest platform.

During the session, participants will be introduced to the PICO and PRISMA methodologies, essential for structuring and conducting high-quality systematic reviews in academic research.

What will you learn?

By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the scope of PsycInfo in the context of systematic reviews.
• Locate already published systematic reviews.
• Build a systematic review using advanced search techniques.
• Effectively manage the results obtained.

Level 0 emergency

The Principal of the University of Valencia, following the proposal of the Emergency Committee, has decided to declare the end of the level 2 emergency established across all UV campuses and facilities.

This decision will take effect from 00:01 a.m. on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, once the alert situation experienced during yesterday and today has been normalized.

JoVE as a Tool to Support University Teaching
