Selection criteria

Participants will be selected according to the following criteria:
- For those courses that have specific requirements, it must be verified that the applicants actually meet them.
- Preference will be given to the requests of those applicants who have not taken courses with similar characteristics in the last three years.
- Likewise, preference will be given to those who have not taken training courses in the last three years.
- In the event of a tie between applicants in application of the above criteria, it will be necessary to adhere to the rigorous order of entry of the applications (day and time of presentation)

Training objectives

1. To create teaching materials and activities in EMI courses to cater for students' learning needs, course objectives and assessment methods.
2. To learn about the types of assessment tools and criteria that can be used in EMI courses.
3. To design an assessment system for course materials and class activities that interrelates competencies and learning objects.
 

Contents

1. Materials design in EMI: pedagogical and practical issues.
2. Analysing, producing, adapting and assessing materials for learners.
3. Assessment: competencies > learning outcomes > materials/activities.

Competencies to be developed

1. To be able to create and adapt materials and teaching activities for EMI courses.
2. To be able to design and apply assessment tools and systems not only to students' competencies but also to course materials and teaching performance.

Criteria and procedure for evaluation of the activity

Design of a course activity / material with its corresponding assessment system.
