Viccarbe, Prince Felipe Bussiness Excellence Award, closes the official Master's Degree in Marketing and Market Research

The event took place on Thursday 16 July at 13.00 in the Assembly Hall of the Gregori Maians Library (Tarongers Campus).

The Official Interuniversity Master’s Degree in Marketing and Market
Research, organised by the Faculty of Economics in collaboration with the Department of Marketing and Market Research of the University of Valencia, closes its third edition with a closing conference by Daniel de Benedito, managing director of Viccarbe, Prince Felipe Business Excellence Award.

The econd edition of this interuniversity Master’s degree ends this academic year 2008-2009. It was created from the Doctorate degree in marketing with quality certification, and its mission is the commitment to specialized training both at the academic and research level in the field of marketing, in response to the social need of having university specialists with a strong background in that
discipline.

Among the contents of the master it is worth highlighting the commitment to teach students how to design market research from start to finish, using specialized programs such as SPSS, EQS or the N-LIVE for data analysis. Students are also familiarised with marketing decision making, especially at the strategic level,
developing the use and management of specific strategic simulation software in the interaction of working groups composed of students from different partner universities.

In the closing conference, entitled “The Positioning of Viccarbe”, the
speaker has highlighted the importance of this marketing training in the business world, and has pointed out the main lines of marketing action in their business that have led them to receive many awards and both national and international recognition.
The event was also attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Trinidad Casasús, who gave words of encouragement to students; by the director of the Department of Marketing and Market Research and the outgoing director of the master, who has presented the new directors for the coming academic year 2009-2010.

The highlight of the act has been a video prepared by the students, showing the best moments of their two-year experience.
