The University of Valencia was one of the pioneers in the introduction of Chemical Engineering in Spain, when the Chair for Technical Chemistry at the Faculty of Sciences. Furtherly, since 1993 and for over 20 years, the Degree of Chemical Engineering has been taught, a five years..

From 2010 on, after the university degrees adaptation period to the European Higher Education Scope, the Degree in Chemical Engineering is taught at the ETSE with a program of four-years of duration.

This Master’s degree, taught from 2015, has meant the completion of the adaptation process to the EEES of the  Chemical Engineering Studies. This Master  allows students to achieve additional professional capacities and skills, supplementing that obtained in the Bachelor Degree.. From the 23/24 academic year, the Master is structured in 90 ECTS credits.
