The general goal of the Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering by the UV is to train and to specialise students for the profession of Chemical Engineering in all the competencies that should be acquired according to the Resolution of 8 June 2009 by the General University Office and published in the State Official Gazette on 4 August 2009. Thus, the Master’ Degree in Chemical Engineering involves, on one hand, the deepening in the knowledge and capabilities acquired in the Undergraduate Degree Studies and in the other hand it should lead to a level of specialisation which allow the appropriate practice of the profession and provide the scientific/technical preparation needed for the development of the doctoral studies.
Additionally, a specific objective of this master is the coaching applied to job and industrial environments, from the development of a traineeship and the participation of industrial professionals in teaching activities.
