On the 30th of January, the University Master in Food Quality and Safety of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences held the conference 'Entrepreneurship in Agri-Food Businesses'.
The conference was attended by Dr Teresa Cercós, Chief Operating Officer of Importaco Casa Pons S.A., a leading company in the food and drink industry, specialising in the production and marketing of nuts and mineral water. Since its foundation in 1940, the company has grown into a major business group with an international presence.
Dr Cercós participated with the conference 'Neuroscience applied to Innovation and Quality'. At the conference, he approached the topic from a consumer perspective, combining neuroscience with marketing to better understand consumer behaviour and purchasing decisions.
The conference was a great success among students and professionals from the agri-food sector. The Master's Commission would like to thank Dr Cercós and all the participants.
