The inauguration of the 17th edition of the Master's Degree in Food Quality and Safety at the UV was marked by the attendance of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences, Dr Hortensia Rico, and featured a notable inaugural lecture by the Chief Operating Officers at Importaco Casa Pons, Dr Teresa Cercós.

On Tuesday, 23rd September, the official inauguration of the Master's Degree in Food Quality and Safety at the UV was held, in a ceremony attended by prominent academic authorities.

The event was presided over by Dr María José Ruiz and Dr Patricia Roig, directors of the master's degree, accompanied by Dr Hortensia Rico, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences at the UV. Dr Rico highlighted the importance of this postgraduate programme due to its innovative approach, its teaching quality and its connection with the current demands of the professional market.

The opening ceremony concluded with a lecture delivered by Dr Teresa Cercós Fortea, Chief Operating Officers at Importaco Casa Pons, who presented a paper entitled 'Food Innovation'. During her speech, the speaker engendered a high level of interest among the attendees and initiated the new edition of the master's degree on an inspiring note.
