On 14 and 21 November, at 15:30h in the room 2A3 of the Faculty of Social Sciences, the lecturer Virginia Orengo will give two seminars about the Belbin roles for improving the teamwork strategy.
Knowing how to manage human teams is essential so as to have a motivated and productive personnel. One of the most efficient techniques when leading groups is the Belbin method.
The nine Belbin roles are a especially useful tool for identifying the member’s roles of a working team. This is helpful in order to build a high performance team, and increase both, organizational skills and the collaboration between parties.
All members have to play a specific role according to their strengths so as to obtain an efficient and productive team. The nine Belbin roles are based on behavioural attributes and are classified in three categories: action roles (ability of putting the ideas into practice), mental roles (ability of critical thought and creativity) and social roles (ability of communication and offering support to the rest of the team).
These seminars will be given by the lecturer of the Department of Social Psychology, Virginia Orengo, co-director of the Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management of the UV.
