The Master’s Academic Coordinating Committee (CCA) is the body responsible for the organisation and supervision of the work placements, as well as the approval or, if applicable,  the selection, of the companies or institutions presented by the students', the analysis of the students curriculums, the distribution of the students among the different tutors and the assessment of the subject.

The University-Business Foundation (ADEIT) of the University of Valencia is the body responsible for the management of the Work Placements, in particular Julia Liébana

In general, the work placements take place in a company or institution with which the University has signed the corresponding agreement.  Students are also allowed to look for the work placement place (autopracticum), including overseas, in this case he/she should inform  ADEIT and the Academic Coordinating Committee  about the company where he/she wants to develop the work placements and the activities.

The work placements will be supervised by a university tutor, who should be professor of the Master’s, appointed by the Academic Coordinating Committee (CCAM) in early October.

The company or institution will appoint a tutor, responsible of the supervision of the student and who will be the contact person with the Master’s.

However, the agreement is not  necessary when the student works professionally during the work placement period, in a period equal or superior to the duration of the work placement, developing tasks that are related to aspects of the Master’s degree and the CCA approve or recognise this labour period so that is equivalent to the development of work placements. For this reason the student should submit to the CCA a report explaining the tasks that he/she is developing, as well as a certificate of his/her working experience. If favourable, the student must also submit the Work placement report that will allow the assessment of the subject.
