Tourism specialist in Public Management of Tourism. Bachelor and Degree in Tourism, Master in Tourism Management and Planning, Master in Environmental and Territorial Management Techniques and PhD in International Economics and Tourism.

Professional experience, from 2001 to 2020, in municipal, provincial and regional tourism planning and management as a technician and consultant. 

The fields of teaching and research are related to territorial governance (power analysis, stakeholder participation strategies, creation of permanent governance bodies, participatory evaluation of public policies), tourism planning and management (creation of tools, definition of tourism model, analysis and reorientation of the negative effects on the territory), and evaluating and implementing participatory processes of adaptation to tourism use of cultural and natural heritage as an endogenous strategy for tourism positioning.

Biography
 

Amparo Cervera has been a Full-time Professor at the University of Valencia since 2008. She has been positively evaluated in 6 five-year teaching periods and 4 six-year research periods recognized by the Ministry of Science and Education.

Throughout the years of dedication to the University, she has carried out research, teaching, management and knowledge transfer responsibilities. In all activities, she has prioritized individual effort combined with teamwork, rigor, and public service. Her transfer activity has been developed from the absolute conviction that she is part of the social responsibility of the Universities and of her research teaching staff.

She has been director of the International Institute of Economy (2016-2022). She has participated in more than 25 research projects, 11 of them financed in public calls and 14 are contracts with companies or institutions. She has been director of the City of Valencia Chair (2013-2015) and the Sustainable Economic Model Chair of Valencia and its surroundings (2017-2019). She has led several competitive projects with the SIV research group -service, innovation, value- that she directs. Highlight ENPI European project called Newcimed: new cities in the Mediterranean Sea Basin on the sustainable development of tourist destinations. Led (2017-2019) a competitive project within the Program for the promotion of scientific research, technological development and innovation in the Valencian Community on the sustainability of Cruise Tourism.

She is the author or co-author of more than 75 articles -60 of them indexed in Web of Science-, editor of 3 books and author or co-author of 35 books or book chapters, some of them of international diffusion. She has presented more than 150 papers at conferences and lectured to diverse audiences. She is now Managing Editor of the Int. Review on Public and Nonprofit Marketing -Springer-.

She has directed 13 doctoral theses, 10 of them financed by companies or institutions in a clear link with the transfer of science to economic and social reality. Three of them were awarded extraordinary doctorate prizes by their respective universities -Castellón and Valencia- and another by the Entrepreneurship Chair of the University of Salamanca as the best Spanish thesis in Entrepreneurship. She has also directed numerous master's and doctoral final projects.

She has been invited to participate as a member of commissions that have to judge the competitions for access to university teaching bodies nationally and internationally, as well as a member of doctoral thesis tribunals.

She has evaluated Research projects for ANEP (National Agency of the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation) as well as for the Directorate of Evaluation and Accreditation of the Andalusian Knowledge Agency (DEVA-AAC) and the European Comission.

Regarding research stays, note Victoria University (New Zealand), University of Birmingham (UK), Harvard Business School (USA), University of Beira Interior (Portugal), Paris XIII (France), Austral University (Chile). In Spain, at the Autonomous University of Madrid, Almería, Castilla-La Mancha and Barcelona.

Biography
 

Full-time lecturer in English Laguage and Linguistics at ​​the Universitat de València since 1992, currently senior reader. Founding member of the University Institute of Applied Modern Languages ​within the UV (IULMA-UV), and of the Group of Support for Research in Linguistic Variation (SILVA Group). She has lectured on  linguistics and professional English in undergraduate degrees in English Studies, Tourism Studies, Economics and International Business Studies. She has also lectured on specialized English issues in the Ph.D. program in Specialized Languages, ​​and in several postgraduate degrees such as the Master in Economic Internationalization, Master in Tourism Management, Master in International and EU Relations, Master in Research in Languages ​​and Literatures, and Master in Advanced English Studies. She has worked in the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Economics and also in the Faculty of Philology (FFTC) and has collaborated as visititng lecturer and researcher with universities in Spain (e.g. University of Alicante, Universitat Jaume I of Castellón) and abroad (e.g. Roehampton University, South Bank University, Nottingham University, Liverpool University). Her main areas of ​​research are linguistic variation in contemporary English and professional communication, especially approached from cognitive linguistics, sociolinguistics, pragmatic semantics and corpus linguistics. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences, and has published her work in prestigious editorials and journals (e.g. Cambridge Scholars Publishing, Arbor, Journal of Pragmatics, Ibérica, International Journal of English Studies, Cuadernos de Filología: Estudios Lingüísticos, etc.)

Biography
 

Professor of English Studies at the University of Valencia. He has served as Director of the Department of English and German Philology and is currently Director of the University of Valencia MA in Advanced English Studies, Director of the University of Valencia Expert in International Legal English and Nau Gran English language program coordinator. He has received 4 six-year research/transfer quality awards and 6 five-year teaching quality awards. Docentia score: 200/200.
He served as an Education Attaché at the Consulate General of Spain in Miami, as Education and Science Commissioner at the Embassy of Spain in Washington DC, and at the Embassy of Spain in Ottawa. In the Spanish foreign service, he negotiated and signed over a hundred Memoranda of Understanding and Cooperation Programs between Spain, the USA and Canada in the fields of education and science. He promoted the creation of the International Studies Charter High School in Miami, the project of bilingual ISA (International Spanish Academies), postdoctoral fellowship programs in North American universities and North American TAs (language and culture assistants) for Spanish bilingual schools.
    BA and MA in English (University of Granada). University of Granada Award for Academic Excellence, and National Award–University Studies in the Humanities; PhD cum laude (University of Bologna-Royal College of Spain) and Diploma with honours in TEFL and translation studies (University of Salford); Fulbright Visiting Fellow at Yale University; Visiting Professor at the University of Delaware, etc. He has also served as IP of research projects on mentorship development, Thomas More’s Utopia, utopia and the building of national identities in Europe, etc.). Author of more than one hundred works, published in Spain, the USA, Germany, Italy and France.
    His teaching experience includes English Medieval and Renaissance literature, utopian / dystopian literature, legal English, English for law enforcement, oral communication and varieties of English. He has taught on the language of competition law to European judges and prosecutors within the Training of National Judges Program of the EU. He has directed nine doctoral dissertations, all of which received the highest mark, and four more are in progress.
    He is a member, among others, of the advisory board of the Journals Utopian Studies  (Penn State University Press), SELIM, etc., and is a reviewer for Bloomsbury Publishing, DeGruyter, AEDEAN, Epos, etc. ; he has served as external expert advisor in several programs at The National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA) and a member of the committee of academic experts of the Ministry of Education for the National Plan for the Improvement of Foreign Language Teaching.  He has also provided services as an expert in specialized translation of legal texts to several universities through the OTRI-UVEG. Expert guest speaker in the Congressional Briefing Series, US Congress on “Official English vs. English Plus: The US Language Policy Debate,” he has also been invited as an expert by the Education Committee of the Spanish Parliament.

Maria Orero-Blat, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Management at the University of Valencia. She holds a double international degree in International Business (Universitat de València and Hochschule Bremen). a Master's degree in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship (Universitat de València) and a Master's degree in Digital Business (Universitat Politècnica de València). Her research focuses on the fields of digital transformation, HR analytics, digital skills and organizational culture. She has published her research in high-impact journals such as the Journal of Innovation & Kowledge, Review of Managerial Science or Journal of Business Research and has participated in international conferences as a speaker and member of the academic and organizing committee. Carlos Salvador holds a PhD of Banking and Quantitate finance (with special honors) and a degree in Economics from the faculty of Economics at the University of Valencia, where he is currently Associate Professor of Economic Analysis (Personal Permanente Laboral in Spanish Universitary System). He was researcher and Assistant Professor in the department of Economic and History of CUNEF Business School (2013-2018) and a visiting researcher at the College of Business at Bangor University (United Kingdom) in 2012. His fields of specialization are the financial economics, Banking and Macroeconomics. His most outstanding research works have been published in international journals such as Journal of Financial Stability, Journal of International Money and FinanceJournal of International Financial MarketsInstitutions & Money, Financial Research Letters, Research in International Business and Finance, The North American Journal of Economics and Finance, The Spanish Review of Financial Economics, Applied Economics letters, Spanish Journal of Finance and Accounting, Regional and Sectoral Economic Studies. Biography
 

Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Economics at the University of Valencia. Her work bridges political economy, cultural economics and tourism, with a particular interest in how music and culture contribute to territorial development. She holds a PhD in International Economics and Tourism from the University of Valencia, awarded cum laude. Paula teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate courses on topics such as economic policy, event management and sustainable development. Her research offers original insights into music tourism and the concept of music cities, with a strong focus on real-world impact. She has led and contributed to numerous research projects exploring the role of music in shaping the tourism identity of the Valencian Region, including a flagship initiative to position Valencia as a global music city. Paula co-chairs the transnational Music Cities Network, leads the Music for Development research unit, and maintains active collaborations with the music and cultural ecosystem in Spain and beyond.
