The Autonomous University of Madrid Foundation offers an in‑person course with the title “One global health, the integrated reality that we share”.

Public health and human health are tightly connected to animal health and the environment. This connection has gained special protagonism due to the microorganisms that are emerging or reemerging. One Health reflects the collaborative effort of many health sciences professionals and institutions – working at local, national and world levels – to achieve an optimal health for people, domestic animals, wildlife, plants and our environment. This collaboration reduces the costs of social and environmental services and saves human and animal lives. Therefore, health training from all these perspectives is important, in a setting that would facilitate the exchange of experiences and opinions and foster scientific debate. With the aim of learning that health is global health, this course will encompass all these objectives.
