The registration period for the “Course in Intestinal Parasites” organised on-line by the Medical Sciences Faculty of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina is now open.
The course starts next 25 April and ends 21 November, consisting of 400 teaching hours. It is directed by Dr. Silvana Carnevale and coordinated by Dr. Jorge Néstor Velásquez and Osvaldo Germán Astudillo.
This course will encompass the study of the main intestinal parasites, taking into account microbiological aspects, clinical manifestations, epidemiology, treatment, diagnosis, and its relation to the environment.
The objective of the course is the training of human resources through the acquisition of knowledge on the biology and biological cycles of enteroparasites, the techniques for parasitological diagnosis, the clinical manifestations, the therapeutic indications, and the epidemiology of the chief intestinal parasites.
