It´s a 2012 American epic western movie, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino.
The protagonists of the film are Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.
The movie is set in the pre-Civil War of the United States in the south of USA, in the old west part. A slave (Foxx) is released by a bounty hunter (Waltz) with whom he is associated to cross the U.S. to rescue his wife (Washington) from a cruel and powerful cotton plantation owner (DiCaprio). The film was nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Waltz) and Best Original Screenplay (Tarantino). In the 70th gala of the Golden Globes, Christoph Waltz won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and Quentin Tarantino won the Golden Globe for Best Original Screenplay.
