A cornerstone in the world of elementary particles and their interactions, which provides the answer to the origin of the mass, the intrinsic propierty of the matter
By early Juny of 2012 there was a great media spread abouyt the discover of the Higgs Boson.
The knowledge of the foundations of science very often leads to, through relationships that pop out spontaneously in different fields of the research, the appearance of explanations to specific problems of our daily activity in the scientific-technical field.
From the VLC/Campus, in the environment of the "Excellence Meetings" we invite you and encourage you to assist to a interesting explanation of the "Discover of the Higgs Boson", wich will be run by Dr. Carmen García García (Researcher in charge ATLAS - Silicon Tracker and Professor of Research in the Centre of Scientific Research) and the Dr. Antonio Pich Zardoya (Coordinator of the National Centre of Particle Physics, Astroparticles and Nuclear Physics, and Professor of Theoretical Physics of the Corpuscular Physics Institute).
