Doctor in Economic and Business Sciences from the Universitat de València and full university professor of Business Organisation. He was awarded various research prizes. Camisón has more than 30 year-experience in teaching, research and university management. During this time, he held posts of responsability in university management by conducting departments at the Universitat de València and the Universitat Jaume I, management posts in university extension at the Business School of the Universitat de València, and commissioner for research and doctorate from both. He has delivered more than 90 lectures as invited speaker.

He has also conducted or participated in doctoral programmes and postgraduate courses in almost 30 Spanish, European and Latin American universities. He has directed 18 Doctoral Theses, all of them succesfully defended and graded Excellent Cum Laude, and more than 40 degree's or master's degree's final projects and Research Proficiency Works. Camisón is tenured professor of the Chair for Family Business of the Universitat de València since 2011.

He has also been a visiting professor at foreign universities as London School of Economics and Political Science, Université Montpellier, and  Viena University.
