The University Extension of Ontinyent was created in the academic year 1998-1999, where the ‘Diplomatura’ (former Spanish undergraduate degree) in Business Studies began to be taught. Three years later, in the academic year 2001-2002, the academic offer was extended with the Degree in Preschool Education. In the academic year 2014-2015 with the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and in the academic year 2017-2018 with the introduction of the Degree in Nursing. The academic offer was expanded with the implementation of the Master's Degree in General Health Psychology in the academic year 2022-2023, the first promotion of which will end this academic year 2023-2024.

The success achieved by graduating the following classes:

• Twelve in the ‘Diplomatura’ in Business Studies.
• Three in the Degree in Finance and Accounting.
• Five in the Degree in Business Management and Administration
• Nine in the ‘Diplomatura’ in Preschool Education.
• Nine in the Degree in Preschool Education.
• Four in the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.

This points out the impact of the Ontinyent Campus of the Universitat de València in the Vall d'Albaida and neighbouring regions, of its academic normality that justifies its permanence and consolidation.

Currently, the Ontinyent Campus offers the following degrees: Degree in Business Management and Administration, Degree in Preschool Education, Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences and Degree in Nursing, The Master's Degree in General Health Psychology is also taught, as already indicated.
