Jesús Alcolea Banegas is Tenured Professor of the Universitat de València at the Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science. He is developing his research in philosophy of mathematics and theory of argumentation. Much of his interest focuses on the modes for arguing critically and for persuading, applied to the cinema, visual argum, image discourse or seduction. He is teacher of the Undergraduate Degree of Philosophy and of the Master”s Degree in Logic and Philosophy of Science, about logic and argumentation. He has also developed film sessions and series together with the MUVIM and several Valencian city councils. Currently he is Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Education Sciences of the UV.
