In order to foster research on topics related to preschool education, the University Foundation of the Ontinyent Campus announces the third edition of the Research Award in Early Childhood Education “BALARMA Group”
The prize is awarded to the original and unpublished research project that contributes to furthering knowledge and highlighting the importance of any aspect of Preschool Education. In addition to quality and scientific rigour, the applicability of the proposal submitted will be assessed.
The prize, created in memory of this group of renovating teachers of the region, is endowed with €4000 to develop a project. The deadline for submitting proposals is 2 June 2023.
The award was presented by Pedro Pérez, Coordinator of the Ontinyent Campus; Ana Mª Botella, Dean of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Jorge Rodríguez, President of the University Foundation and Mayor of Ontinyent.
The importance of this award, one of the most prestigious within the national scene of research in Preschool Education, has been highlighted, as it aims not only to encourage educational research at this stage, but also the creation of research groups and collaboration between the university and education professionals of this learning stage in schools. This is an initiative of the University Foundation, which organises this award as part of its activities to promote and foster the dynamisation of Ontinyent as a university centre.
