The University pavilion of the Universitat de València is putting the final touches to the celebration of the Handball European Women's Junior Championship. The pavilion's central court, along with the El Cabanyal Sports Centre, will host 28 matches out of the 56 that comprise the competition table.
The Sweden, Russia and Denmark teams, getting the gold, silver and bronze medals respectively in the 2013 European Under 17 Championship, head the groups A, B and C. The Spanish team, coached by Sagrario Santana, will play against Norway, Portugal and Belarus in the first round, within the group D.
The UV will host the encounters of group C (Sweden, Romania, Hungary and France) and D (Portugal, Norway, Spain and Belarus).
Likewise, in “El Cabanyal” will take place the first round matches of groups A (Denmark, Croatia, Montenegro and Serbia) and B (Russia, FYR Macedonia, Germany and Lithuania).
