The Divina Pastora Chair of Adapted Sports through the Office of the Vice-Principal for Culture and Equality of the Universitat convenes the regulatory bases for obtaining financial aid for University students with disabilities and / or special needs derived from a disability, for the practice of competitive sports activities for the 2017/2018 academic year.

With these grants, the Universitat contributes to make compatible the academic and sports life of the students by putting at their disposal the necessary facilities and services so that they can study and maintain their levels of sports training. For its part, both the Divine Pastora Chair of Adapted Sport of the University of Valencia and the adapted sport program of the University of Valencia intend to promote the integration of students in all areas: academic, improvement of the condition physics and health through sport in their daily life, to promote inclusion in the university education system.

Application deadline for elite, high-performance and high-level sports
The Universitat de València also opens the deadline for submitting the application and documentation required to qualify for the programme of support for high-level, high-performance and elite athletes of the University for the 2017/2018 academic year. The deadline for submission of documentation is 30 September 2017.

The purpose of these grants is to develop a programme to support high-level, high-performance and elite athletes of the Universitat de València in order to make it possible to alternate sporting activities and academic studies, a fact that will help the total integration of these athletes in the university education system. 

The aids must be requested through the electronic platform of the ENTREU Universitat, once the student has formalized its enrolment of the course 17/18 in the Universitat. For more information: www.uv.es/sef

On the other hand, the call for the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation Awards for the 2016/17 academic year is still open and the deadline is October 11, 2017.
