Universitat de València sports Service will open the enrolment period for the Sports Volunteering Initiation Course on 26 September at 11:00 a.m. Students will receive 1.5 ECTS Credits for finishing the course and they can enrol with the auto-enrolment process for courses and activities.

This course is the result of the collaboration between the València Municipality Sports Foundation and UV, thanks to the Sports Volunteering Office, and combines theoretical and practical training. The theory is divided in two compulsory sessions and practice requires the participation in at least four sport events or 1 hours of volunteering. 

Students have six events between October and December to choose from, including Run Càncer Ciutat de València, Valencia Boat Show, Half Marathon, Race Against Gender Violence, València Marathon and Sant Silvestre València. By completing both areas and passing the evaluation, students will receive their digital certificate.

The enrolment process will remain open until 4 days before the start of the course or until all spots are taken; the course requires a minimum of 20 students. To earn the certificate, students must complete at least the 80 % of the course. Non-UV students and participants over 28 years old must have a sports insurance. Cancelations must be presented 8 days before the start of the course, with a 20 % of management fee.

After the end of the course, participants can check the exams, attendance and projects and request a revision of their scores within 10 days of their publication.
