The men’s team and the women’s team reached the first positions on the podium in the interclubs by teams
The final phase of interclubs of the province of Valencia was carried out in Gandia last Sunday, 14th December, where 16 teams met to decide the champions of the different categories.
That was a championship organized by the Padel Tennis Federation of Community of Valencia and had got the participation of the federated women’s and men’s teams of Universitat de Valencia, which did an excellent performance in the first category. The men’s team reached the first position, while the girls were subchampions.
The championship interclubs by teams started last June with 36 men’s teams and 24 women’s teams with a group’s first phase, where both women’s and men’s team were led by the university teams run by Jorge Bellmont. Both teams are formed by students of the university, lecturers and staff of the entity, who play in the different categories since a decade.
