The frontenis team of the Universitat de València won the regional championship on 1 March after disputing the frontenis University Sports Regional Championship (CADU) that, this time, took place in the frontons of the Sports Complex in Elx.

The team coached by Cristina Ortiz, which the last academic year won a golden medal, disputed the regional competition from 10:00 h. to 18:00 h.

The frontenis team got to be runner-up in the women’s category and winner and bronze in men’s category. The coach of the team, Cristina Ortiz, sees the championship as a “competition that has been really hard in semi-finals”, so we have to “value the effort carried out by our players; thanks to the effort of everyone we got to revalidate the regional championship title in the university general list of points.” The coach considers that the team “has achieved the objective” and feels “really proud of the players”.
