This academic year may have finished at the UV, but its sport activities are still going. If you also want to stay in shape during these months of heat and keep playing sports, remember that UVesports is providing a wide array of over 40 proposals during the months of June and July. These consist of many activities, courses, festivals and other events located at the three UV campuses.
The inscription process for the different summer school activities remains open at the UVesports website and they are accessible to members of all communities: students, Nau Gran, women (self-defence, for instance), etc.
The summer schools are offered from the 1st of June to the 30th and from the 1st of July to the 28th.
During this time, you will find near thirty sport activities available at any of the three UV campuses: Blasco Ibáñez, Burjassot-Paterna and Tarongers. Moreover, depending on the activity, there are morning or afternoon sessions and they extend throughout the two months.
If you enjoy team sports, don’t hesitate to sign up for the sport courses as well.
From the 1st of June to the 30th, there are basketball, football, futsal, kendo, table tennis and volleyball courses at the Blasco Ibáñez Campus; athletic running courses in Burjassot, and karate and taekwondo courses in the Tarongers Campus.
The kendo courses will take place from the 1st of July to the 31st.

These months of celebration filled with events begin with the archery exhibitions on the 6th and 14th of July at the Tarongers Campus.
On Saturday 13, parasports will be the main focus. The Powerchair Hockey National League will begin at the UVesports pavilion at 9:45am and it will last the whole day. Consult the calendar, agreement and sponsors here.
Lastly, the Flamenco and Sevillanas festival returns for its XIV edition, which will take place in the Tívoli Theatre (Burjassot) at 07:00pm on 1 July.
