Three students represent the University at the Taekwondo European Games

Estefanía Almela, Alejandro Cabeza and Andrés Llivisaca will represent the Universitat de València at the Taekwondo University European Games in Rijeka (Croatia) between the 21 and 26 of July.

The taekwondo delegation of the Universitat de València will travel to Rijeka under the direction of the coach Karina Reis, after obtaining very good results at the Spain University Championship, where the three competitors won the bronze medal. Also, the team has the experience of the nursery student Estefanía Almela in European events, since she won a silver medal in the last European University Championship celebrated during the last academic year. Likewise, she and Alejandro Cabeza, student of the Degree in Food and Science Technology, got the podium in all the Spain University Championship they participated. Regarding Andrés Llivisaca, he is a new member of the team from Ecuador currently studying a master’s degree in Physical Activity and Sport Management at the Universitat de València, who will contribute to the team with his experience of having represented his country in several occasions.
