The University of València has published the resolution of grants destined to athletes members of the University for the 2025-2026 academic year. A grant system based on the points obtained by each applicant with the objective of supporting sport talents inside the university community.
The grants are classified in three modalities:
- Economic grants of 1,200 euros for the 20 applicants who obtained the highest points.
- Economic grants of 350 euros for 280 applicants, excluding those benefitted by the previous grant, who obtained the highest points.
- Academic and sport grants, of zero monetary amount, for all athletes admitted in the convocation. This grants includes the assignation of a tutor from the corresponding studies centre.
This aims to make the compatibility between academic and sports activity easier. The University of València reassures their commitment with the promotion of sports and the integral development of their students, making easier to achieve the balance between academic performance and sports excellency.
