Los próximos 26 y 27 de noviembre de 2025, de 10:00 h a 12:00 h, tendrá lugar el taller “Statistical analyses using R: a focus on linear mixed models”, impartido de manera presencial en el aula LIP-5 de la Facultad de Psicología y Logopedia por Oscar Skovdahl, doctorando visitante de la Universidad de Oslo, en colaboración con el equipo de la ERI-Lectura.

Resumen: This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn about relevant statistical analyses under the guidance of Oscar Skovdahl. Throughout the sessions, participants will explore structural equation modeling and linear mixed models, using R (R Studio) as the main tool. The practical component will be carried out in R Studio, an open-source and free software. You can find more information and download it from its official website.

Bio: Oscar Skovdahl is a PhD candidate at the Department of Special Needs Education at

the University of Oslo. His expertise lies in statistics and educational assessments. His

educational background is in educational measurement and psychology, and he has

previously worked as a statistical advisor for the Directorate of Education and Training

in Norway. His research interests include digital reading, educational and cognitive

psychology (especially reading comprehension and reading difficulties, educational

assessments, as well as methodology, psychometrics and statistical modelling.

Esta formación se enmarca dentro del Programa de Internacionalización en Casa de la Facultad de Psicología y Logopedia, y está organizada por la Oficina de Relaciones Internacionales en colaboración con JURE DocMornings UV.
