Plot: Naples. At the Cupiello’s Christmas evening is getting ready. While Luca Cupiello is setting the nativity scene, his wife Concetta is preparing dinner and trying to deal with chaos that is taking control over the house. They live with their son Tommassino, who refuses to grow up and does not stop committing misdeeds. They also share their home with uncle Pasquali, a hypochondriac who complains about everything.

During the night the daughter bursts into the house, Ninuccia, who has just had the umpteenth argument with her husband, Nicolino, and is more than willing to leave him to flee with his true love, Vittorio.

The misunderstandings and convergences that arise for all the members of the Cupiello’s peculiar family are the key of the hilarious comedy by Eduardo de Filippo that the ‘Teatre Micalet’ Company will stage under the Joan Peris’ direction.
