Specialisation Certificate in the Preservation and Control of Microbial Strains
This course will deal with all the theoretical-practical aspects related to conserving and controlling the authenticity of strains of bacteria, filamentous fungi and yeasts, with a total duration of four days with sessions in the morning and the afternoon. The following topics will be dealt with:
- Recovering material preserved by different techniques (freeze-drying, freezing).
- Controlling viability and purity.
- Controlling authenticity.
- Preservation methods.
